Add a large round mirror centered and hung approx 6-10 inches above the console.
Use Wall scones if Electrical allows or add a Table lamp. Its warm up the space and reflects light to brighten the space.
Add accessories of different textures to create height and depth.
Add vases and greens in group of Three's.
Add ottomans or baskets below the console table for added seating or storage.

Add vases to balance the height of the lamp.

Add a faux or a green plant on the side.
